We purchased Dakota Dixie Flash when she was 18 years old. We found her because she was the dam to my mare Lehman’s Black Dixie. When we found her and met her, we had to have her. We brought her home from Green Zephyr Stables along with a yearling daughter, Zephyrs Dakota Breeze. We owned Dakota Dixie Flash for 6 years and both of her daughters are still here with us. Her quiet gentle disposition was second to none and she definitely passed it on to her offspring. She would have been eligible for Heritage certification, but she died before the Society was born.
